Pumpkin Patch

There's no better way to start the fall than with a pumpkin patch. We've gone to a few different ones over the years, but this year we had free passes to go to TG Farms in Newcastle. We'd heard about it and seen the booth at the fair. It was free with our passes, so how could we pass it up!? The Cliftons joined us. Their company was great and the weather was perfect, but the actual pumpkin patch wasn't as awesome as we'd hoped. But again, it was free. And the kids loved it. That's all that really matters. We liked all the pumpkins at the front gate. It made a great photo op.

Pony rides were free on this day! I'm glad because $4 is a little steep.
Max was led by one of the guys at the corral. I was surprised he didn't beg for one of us to be there with him.
And, of course, we have to pick out a pumpkin (or three) at the end of the day.

Is Newcastle far? Was there a hayride? A visit to the Patch is never complete without a hayride! :)

Glad you guys had fun!!

That's a great pic of you and Max together. You are glowing :) I like this pumpkin patch quite a bit. We went last year and we went early in the season so we had lots of pumpkins to choose from. Yea for free pony rides!!
